About Spectrum

At the heart of a vibrant, established trade area featuring large nationally recognized companies, two hospitals, several grocery stores and strong residential communities, is Spectrum, a 40-acre mixed use project located in Gaithersburg, MD. The project is located at the intersection of Watkins Mill Road and MD Route 355 and I-270 in the midst of the bio-tech corridor. Local employers Kaiser Medical Center, Lockheed Martin, Emergent, Professional Drive Office Park, the U.S. Humane Society, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). A large Costco is located across MD 355 in the immediate vicinity.

The project is nestled beside a 7-acre nature preserve and a short walk from Great Seneca Park, a 10-mile linear park. At its heart of the Spectrum is Performers Park, which features a large splash pad fountain and a permanent stage for performances and events. Spectrum’s residential component includes the 224-unit Paramount East and West apartments and the Majestic, a 243-unit luxury apartment with both public and gated residential parking. Spectrum is part of the larger Watkins Mill Town Center, slated to include 4.5 million square feet of Class A office, hotel, restaurants, retail and more than 2,200 homes and apartment units.

Performers Park

Located at the heart of Spectrum is Performers Park, an entertainment venue surrounded by restaurants with large outdoor patios and seats to enjoy the show.

Featuring a large jet fountain and a fully equipped stage for musical performances and other events, Performers Park will act as a draw to both nearby residents and the 10 million square feet of employment surrounding the project.
